new music: punk/soul band algiers honors victims of police brutality in powerful new track “cleveland”

Atlanta-based Algiers is no stranger to bold political statements, and their newest single “Cleveland” is one of their boldest yet. The title is both a reference to the gospel song “Peace be Still” by Rev James Cleveland, and to the story of Tamir Rice who was shot and killed by police in Cleveland in 2014.
