So-called “hoteps” and alt-right white nationalists of the internet have been, uh, getting friendly after discovering each other’s mutual and oppressive views in support of the patriarchy, misogyny, racism, and xenophobia. In essence, the “hoteps” of Twitter have made themselves the white nationalists of the black community, using their perceived “alpha male” authority to subvert other minorities and push a segregationist agenda. As long as these “hoteps” get to be at the top of their own racial hierarchy, it’s all good, apparently. “Hoteps want blacks to work towards having their own independent system where blacks do for blacks and don’t ask for handouts. The white nationalists and Alt-right want pretty much the same,” writes Hotep Nation. The group doesn’t seem to acknowledge that America already attempted this model of separateness—it was called Jim Crow and white nationalists used it to terrorize and disable black communities uplifting and empowering themselves. But, okay.
