16-year-old illustrator cerena robertson’s work is brilliant beyond her years

At 16, the coolest thing most teens learn how to do is drive, but 16-year old Cerena Robertson taught herself to make magic on paper. The young illustrator is creating quite a name for herself on Instagram and the internet with her stylized depictions of Black women in her work. The attention to detail, knowledge of melanin and its many wonders, the celebration of Black girl magic–all of it is present in this young woman’s amazing pieces.
