white terrorist: the only suspect in fatal quebec mosque attack
After being wrongly described as a “Moroccan Muslim”, news came that the terrorist shooting at a Quebec City mosque that left 6 people dead was allegedly committed by far-right radical, Alexandre Bissonnette, a 27-year-old white Trump and Marine Le Pen supporter. After the shooting, Eric Debroise called the police and told them Bissonnette is “very right and (an) ultra-nationalist white supremacist,” reports French-language newspaper Le Journal de Montreal reports. “He really liked Trump and had a permanent discontent with the left.”
Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer used the tragic event to validate President Trump’s unethical ban on Muslims from some Muslim-majority countries by saying, “It’s a terrible reminder of why we must remain vigilant and why the president is taking steps to be proactive instead of reactive when it comes to our nation’s safety and security.” The United States is not currently taking any measures to secure our safety against men like Bissonnette.
