sza’s album will finally be released in 2017!

Thank the music gawds and Top Dawg Entertainment for not dropping the ball! The long-awaited followup to SZA’s debut and sophomore tapes (S & Z) is set to be released in 2017. Entitled “A,” the album has been in the making for almost three years now and fans are eager to hear SZA in her own space in addition to the jaw-dropping, heartstopping guest spots she’s done for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad, DRAM and many others. Late last year, SZA went on a bit of a tirade via Twitter about TDE pumping the brakes continually on “A” and now it seems that the disgruntled artist’s rant very well might have paid off for her big time. In an Instagram video, TDE’s label head Anthony “Top Dawg” Griffith said “Watts up world! I just walked in to the offfice.. it’s time to work on my 2017 release schedule… @sza are u ready 2 get them off my head? #TDE” and it looks like it’s time for SZA heads to rejoice! Looks like 2017 is going to be a good year.
