Nothing can really replace the funk. It’s one of the most borrowed from genres in the Black music lexicon and the fiercest combination of sounds generally attributed to rock n’ roll, soul, and jazz. Instrumentation is all centered around creating a groove unlike any other, one that propels listeners to move and the groove is heard all throughout French funk band’s Lehmanns Brothers.
