new music: rage against the machine’s zack de la rocha takes aim at the 2016 election in blistering, el-p-produced single ‘digging for windows’
While his Rage Against The Machine bandmates are on the road with supergroup Prophets of Rage, Zack de la Rocha just released some brand new solo tunes for the first time in a decade. The relentless track is called ‘Digging For Windows’ (prod. by El-P) and it takes aim at the American political circus in general and what is Election Season 2016: “I stare at a future so toxic/ No trust in the dust of a promise/ Won’t mark the name on a ballot/ So they can be free to devour our options.”
