feature: brazilian photographer mavi explores the serenity in nature in beautifully contrasting editorial ‘búlúù’

Brazil-based photographer MAVI is giving a fresh face to contrast in her recent photo series. The stunning editorial- ‘BÚLÚÙ‘– masterfully highlights  both the beauty of the human body, and the gracefulness of nature. Placing the model,Herbert Gonçalves in direct contrast with his surroundings- his purifying black skin is illuminated against the encompassing bright blue sky and the true essence of codependence is put into perspective. Without dark there can be no light, without up there can be no down. The harmonious nature of earth is placed on a pedestal, and viewers are swept into the fantastical world of this project.
