London-raised and Atlanta-based, singer/writer/composer/producer ABRA is bringing it back with her 80’s synth vibes, while she bumps her way to the top. The self-labeled ‘Darkwave Duchess’ is on the rise; her modern twists on a late 80’s early 90’s vibe transports her audience into another time- while her ecstatic dancing and passionate vocals takes them on a wonderful ride of rhythm. The clanging of the 808 drums seems to hypnotize, as her falsetto incantations highlight all of the emotions present in the lyrics. With the release of her newest EP ‘Princess’ her vintage hip hop fusion is elevated to it’s highest: from it’s catchy beats to it’s anthemic messages, ABRA solidifies her genre and paves the way for a stunning career. Check her out and listen to ‘Princess’ below.
