new music: alternative r&b singer nao transcends musical boundaries in her new album ‘for all we know’

July 29, 2016

‘For All We Know’, the latest album from NAO, is a force to be reckoned with. From it’s beautifully soothing intro to it’s deeply cadenced outro- and everything in between- the British singer takes listeners for a ride worth repeating again and again. Maneuvering her way through the effervescent  grooves of the album, NAO leaves no room for rest. Each song features a contagious beat, giving the songstress a perfect background for her intriguingly- warped vocals and expressive intonations, and leaving the audience continuously spun by her creativity. Throughout the project, voice memos are included- providing a glimpse into NAO’s creative process ad adding an organic texture to an already explosive album. 18 songs long, and roughly an hour long, ‘For All We Know’ is a transcending listening experience; pairing with any mood or circumstance- this electronic, Pop/Rock offering is a gift to the senses.
