Last night- the first night of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland- brought much in the realm of entertainment. From Trump’s Kanye-esque entrance, to the hundreds of republicans booing him, trying to salvage their reputation with another candidate- there was much to see. The biggest take-away though, has to be the blatant plagiarizing of a one Melania Trump, as she recited a speech that was a little too word-for word what First lady Michelle Obama said at the 2008 Democratic Convention. Side by side comparisons of the speech have further proven the undeniable similarities/copying- and though the Trump administration vehemently denies any plagiarism, the internet-  the Comedy central roast that it is- wasted no time in creating the hashtag #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes exposing the ridiculousness of it all. Twitter is exploding; everyone from celebrities to activists to your next door neighbor have seized the opportunity to get their punches in, and it’s getting more and more hilarious.
