feature: alternative hip-hop innovators digable planets announce dates for upcoming reunion tour
After a four-year hiatus, influential hip-hop collective Digable Planets is returning to the stage for a reunion tour. Following festival appearance at Sasquatch Festival, Essence Festival, and Pitchfork Festival the trio will be hitting the southeast and Mid-Atlantic region of the country, according to BrooklynVegan, with the possibility of additional stops.
Digable Planets’ Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler will be playing AFROPUNK Brooklyn with band Shabazz Palaces.
