new music: london-based indie rapper mikill pane clever as ever in newest project, “let mc it”
Listen to London-based Indie rapper Mikill Pane’s newest project “Let MC It”, which came out last month. After a brief hiatus, the MC is back and as clever as ever with effortless style and lyricism saturated in wordplay, introspection, and social commentary about gentrification, urban decay, youth drug use, and more. Particularly on the melancholic “GNGSTRS”, a slower standout in an otherwise zany soundscape of funk-inspired experimental beats. “Let MC It” features appearances by Tony D., Jordan Stephens, and Doc Brown.
