JStarks (aka Javier Starks) is a hip-hop artist & youth advocate from D.C. who uses swearword-free music to “pours positivity and love back into the black community”. The rapper’s latest release “Indigo Child: “D”​-​EITY” features the likes of Grammy winning jazz pianist Robert Glasper, drummer/producer Daru Jones, and public intellectual and professor Michael Eric Dyson.
