feature: photographer wagner alvz expresses message of queer black youth acceptance in series “le twins”

In his photo series “Le Twins” Brazilian photographer Wagner Alvz captures the wicked aesthetic of models Slim Soledad and Mateos Vilarrue. Inspired by the violent and phobic rhetoric towards and misunderstanding of queer black identities, Alvz uses the series as a means of empower through representation and the promotion of acceptance and love. Soledad and Vilarrue will be continuing the conversation about queer acceptance on their new Facebook page, Le Twins.  Check out “Le Twins” down below.
