Giovana Rodrigues is an 19-year-old graphic designer who draws alternative pastel femme figures with a healthy dose of attitude and an interest in the supernatural. Some of these characters even project their own otherworldliness—check out the Vulcan ears. Rodrigues does do commissions and gives away her work, but only through a bater system for other artistic goods. “I love receiving drawings, or anything else that can offer me in exchange a verse, a picture, a song, a poem, anything. I love the interaction that this platform gives us,” Rodrigues writes on Tumblr.
