At just 22-years-old, Zunyda Watson is a fashion wunderkind. She’s a self-taught designer and entrepreneur of Dominican and African heritage who refined her tailoring skills under the contemporary label, Collina Strada. When it comes to designing garments, Zunyda takes cues and inspiration from her peers and heritage to create bold and unconventional looks. “We’re always being told what to think, what to feel and what to be. I want my work to reflect feelings of freedom, an inquisitive mind and an inspiring voice,” she writes.
