new music & video: tesla x omaure – “gentrify me”

Collaborators Cologne-based Omaure and Denmark-based tesla dish out the harsh realities of gentrification on their new track “Gentrify me”. Omaure drops bars depicting the rapid changes of his community: the missing older folks who no longer can afford to live there, the wing shop that’s been replaced by a jewelry store, and, of course, no gentrification story is completely without a reference to non-fat lattes.
