Gregory Prescott is a self-taught fine arts photographer based in Brooklyn. His photographs are often shrouded in a sumptuous, sensual blanket that celebrates and glorifies the human body. Prescott features an impressively diverse bunch of models, too. There are many “faces” of blackness in his portfolio: freckles, black albinos, red heads, dark skin, models with vitiligo, dreads, locks, gap-teeth, brightly colored afros—the list goes on. “I use my camera like a paintbrush, to create beautiful images of the male and female form. My mission is to diversify the cultural spectrum in fine art photography, with classic and timeless pieces,” he writes on his website.

We’ve pulled some of our favorites for you, down below, and you can check out more of his work on his website.
