feature: #loveyourlines redefines the perception of stretch marks
The Fitblr side of Tumblr would tell you that stretch marks are just cool as tiger stripes, and I’m inclined to agree. Stretch marks have long been considered to be an unsightly tell-tale sign of extreme weight loss or weight gain. And, as is the case with cellulite, many women possess stretch marks for any number of reasons—namely the natural changes a body experiences throughout a person’s life. Love Your Lines is a digital campaign geared towards anyone who has ever felt ashamed or less than because of their perfectly natural “imperfection.” #LoveYourLines invites women to empower themselves by sharing (anonymous or otherwise) photos of their stripes with the world.
Here are some powerful images from the campaign.
