lilith ai – riot

This is the title track of Lilith Ai’s new 4-track new EP, described by her camp as “a tribute of sorts to the Riot Grrrrl scene that has inspired her”. The EP has been released alongside a book of illustrations and poetry by the London based musician, with photography from model Georgia May Jagger.

“I’ve always liked drawing little comic book strips and wanted to make a kind of “riot grrrl” fanzine to go with the EP as I find the Riot Grrrl movement really inspiring. I’d started work on it last January when my mate Georgia was moving house, I was helping her unpack and saw these really beautiful photos. I asked who had taken them and she said she had and got out a bunch of old binders full of all these wicked snaps she had done. Right away I told her I was doing this fanzine and had to include her photos and it just grew naturally from there.”
