The single, entitled ‘Phone Down’, is taken from her forthcoming mixtape (‘But You Caint Use My Phone’), which the soulstress says will drop on thanksgiving weekend. Production credits for the song go to Erykah and Zach Witness, and concept/writing is credited to an Aubrey Davis. Perhaps a reference to Drake (aka Aubrey Graham). Ms. Badu recently covered the rapper’s ‘Hotline Bling’ track. Stream her new single below.
