Check out the “Ah, Branco, dá um tempo!” photo campaign! The anti-racism campaign, by Afro-Brazilian students via Tumblr, was founded by Lorraine Monique (an Anthropology student at the University of Brasilia) – inspired by the ‘I, Too, Am Harvard’ campaign, created by black students at Harvard University. Black Pages Brazil state: “The idea is to show how the discrimination, even if a veiled, has devastating consequences for those who go through this every day […] She [Lorraine Monique] says that the name of the campaign was controversial, but the goal is to get white people to think about their privileges in society”.
