video premiere: young futura’s dance-led visual for ‘gypsy woman’ – a futuristic blend of house & hip-hop
Today we’re premiering the new dance led visual from Young Futura – ‘Gypsy Woman’. Young Futura is the collaborative project of rapper Beau Young Prince and French Brooklyn-based Producer YMNO, described by their camp as “a charming euphonious collaboration, not to be defined, constantly evolving-transcending the expected.” In regards to the new track, Young Futura’s camp tell us, “Young Futura were looking for a new inspiration, & began a retro journey into classic 90’s house music. While reminiscing and remixing favorite 90’s tracks, YMNO started blending house with modern electro & hip hop beats. After listening to ‘Gypsy Woman’ with new purpose, he heard a variation that stood out to him. Within a matter of days, he began remixing the track, and brought in Beau Young Prince to rap on it. A collaboration for the record books, ‘Gypsy Woman’ is an upbeat dance track showcasing a chic futuristic blend of house & hip-hop.” Check out the video below (directed by Sarah Jane Satow and featuring ballet dancer Nardia Boodoo) and CLICK HERE to stream the track.
