September 4, 2015

Check out the cover of Saul William’s upcoming poetry book, ‘US (a.)’. Out september 15th, 2015, the book is described by his camp as a presentation of the musician and poet’s “ideas, observations, realizations, dreams, and questions about the state of America, the American psyche, and what it means to be American.” His camp add, “After four years abroad, Williams returned to the United States and found his head twirling with thoughts on race, class, gender, finance, freedom, guns, cooking shows, dog shows, superheroes, not-so-super politicians—everything that makes up our country. US(a.) is a collection of poems that embodies the spirit of a culture that questions sentiments and realities, embracing a cross-section of pop culture, hip-hop, and the greater world politic of the moment.” These theme are explored in Williams’ forthcoming album. In addition to the cover, see his latest video and upcoming tour dates below. And catch Saul Williams at our first inaugural festival in Atlanta: http://afropunkfest.com/atlanta. He’ll be giving away tickets soon (follow his Facebook page to stay updated).
