new music: soulman son little releases emotive new track, ‘lay down’

August 13, 2015

Listen to the new single from singer songwriter Son Little (Aaron Earl Livingston) – ‘Lay Down’. The track is from the soulman’s forthcoming self-titled debut album (out October 16th), the followup to his ‘Things I Forgot’ EP. Little states, “I wrote this song lying in bed with my lady, listening to the tea kettle whistle. I think about how complicated our lives are, all the ones and zeros distract us from what we really need and want. Sometimes I just want to take your love and hide.” Stream the track below, plus throwback to his mesmerising performance on CBS This Morning a few months back.
