Today we’re premiering the new video from Stockholm hard rock band Nubian Rose – ‘You Will Never Walk Alone’. The single is from the Swedish rockers’ latest album, ‘Mental revolution’. Regarding the video, they tell us: “We shot the video in a suburb to Stockholm, Sweden. It’s an industrial area, which totally shot down a while back. Now it’s been taking over by graffiti artists who turned the whole area into Sweden’s biggest art gallery. It was a really grey and depressing place, but has now been taken over by a creative group of people who have used their talents to turn it into something beautiful with a positive vibe all over. We thought it’s perfectly connected to the theme of the song. We also think it’s cool to merge graffiti with rock, since it’s traditionally an art-form connected with hip-hop, but Nubian Rose don’t believe in boundaries.” And in regards to the single, they add: “You Will Never Walk Alone’ is a powerful song made for arenas. It’s in many ways a song inspired by the inner powers we all have, but that we need to open up for. Too many people are walking around their whole life, never exploring their full capabilities, never fully becoming all they can be. When I sing this song, I sing to myself, as much as to the audience and sometimes I sing it thinking about my daughter. She’s growing up in this world, which can be a really dark, cold and scary place, but on the other hand very beautiful and giving place and I wish her all the best while exploring herself, her life and all the planet has to offer.” Check out the new visual below (directed by Christer Åkerlund).
