Amandla Stenberg has shared her debut EP. Yes, she can sing!  With a tweet, the young actress – who has recently become a voice against the rampant appropriation of black culture and the physical features of black women (see below) – shared the self-titled debut effort of her folk group Honeywater; and it’s a stunning effort to say the least. The four tracks were written by Zander Hawley, who ‘The Hunger Games’ actress describes as her “best friend”, and perfectly introduce the sound of this young folk outfit. Stenberg tweeted: “Honeywater has given me the opportunity to grow as a violinist and vocalist, to push myself and be adventurous”. Listen here.
