afropunk premiere: bass player and singer gizmo brings the rock ‘n’ soul with new track/video – ‘sameness : book of james’

Today we’re premiering the new track/video from bass player, singer, producer, and spoken word artist, Gizmo (‘Sameness : Book of James’) – an accomplished young musician who is blending the genres of soul, jazz, hip hop, and electronic, with his musical offerings. A recent graduate of Berklee School of Music, Gizmo has already performed with the likes of Talib Kweli and AFROPUNK Fest alum Meshell Ndegeocello, as well as serving as music director for Bilal and Lalah Hathaway’s performances.
