new music: stream 3 tracks from dc alt rock/hip-hop act wexheirs #soundcheck

Drawing on the sounds of the late 90’s with bits of early alt metal and 60’s soul, DC alt hip-hop trio WExHEIRS just premiered 3 dope new tracks on their Soundcloud. The trio of Riana (drums), Brittany (vocals, bass), and Kayode (guitar) met at Morgan State University in DC and have been playing together in some form since 2011. Their 3 debut tracks as WExHEIRS showcase the band’s range, jumping from the soulful vocals of “Not Alone” to the rapcore “Cooler Than Fly.” Fans of hard rock and nu-metal, definitely check these guys out.
