new music: rock band ex’s with benefits release ‘bad hotel’ album
Listen to the new album from Ex’s With Benefits, ‘Bad Hotel’ – described in one review as “part rock, part grunge, part power pop and a whole lotta punk.” After hearing featured single ‘Puritan Party’ (a song about the GOP), it would be appropriate to add “part political” to that list. The band was formed in 2012 when drummer Alex Vincent reconnected with high school friend Dmitra Smith (former member of San Francisco band and AFROPUNK members Static People) and the four piece includes Pascal Faivre on Guitar and Dave Place on Bass. Listen to some tracks from Bad Hotel’ below, and listen to the album in full here.
