The self taught artist – born in São Tomé and Príncipe (off the Western coast of Africa) – is known for her large scale illustrations of women, often painting with acrylic on canvas. The artist, who has already exhibited at Marymount Manhattan College and The Steuben Glass Gallery in New York, has a strong focus on womanhood and sisterhood.
