feature: jimi hendrix’s bootleg ‘hear my music’ is getting an official release on record store day

A new official Jimi Hendrix bootleg is set to be released at the end of this month, as part of Record Store Day. The label behind the release have referred to the 1969 recordings as Hendrix’s “Creative Explorations”, and the two LP’s worth of rare instrumental studio recordings will not only feature Hendrix’s legendary guitar skills, but also showcase his ability on the piano. Hendrix’s sister Janie Hendrix put together the project, with engineer Eddie Kramer and Hendrix expert John McDermott. Watch some throwback Hendrix, below.
