new music: british soulstress laura mvula’s “sing to the moon” gets the orchestral treatment

August 12, 2014

Last year, with the release of her debut album “Sing to the Moon” (a stunning album that I still continue to listen to over and over again), British soul singer-songwriter Laura Mvula quickly rose to fame; met with critical acclaim and mentioned throughout the nominations of last year’s British award season. Now the debut album that set it all off has been given the Orchestral treatment in the form of the Dutch Metropole Orchestra.
