feature: folorunsho x k1x hand-dyed basketball jerseys for a good cause

June 10, 2014

Folorunsho is a creative collective based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, formed by 20 young men and teenagers. We’ve told you about the sneakers they created and the book and documentary about them and “Lion Base”, the place in which they live in Freetown.
The collective’s latest project is a series of limited edition hand-dyed tank tops in collaboration with basketball brand K1X. They’re telling us that “100% of all profits go directly to the Lion Base crew. The motivation behind all FOLORUNSHO projects is to provide food, shelter and education for the project‘s creators.”
The shirts are sold at the Pigalle store in Paris and in other selected stores worldwide. Visit www.folorunsho.net for more info about the collective.
