Strange Creatures blends RnB with glitch and triphop for atmosphere rich and bass heavy grooves. The ambiance is palpable. The thick layers of effects, piled on smooth discordant keys, are anchored by minimal beats. And topping the whole thing is Allie’s smooth but still commanding voice.
