m.i.a.’s latest album ‘matangi’ finally gets release date from label

After much controversy and M.I.A. threatening to leak it herself, her latest album ‘Matangi’ finally got a release date from record label Interscope. M.I.A. recently tweeted: “If interscope takes longer i can always leak this next week and make a new one by the time they are ready.” Later that day, Interscope announced it would be released on November 5th. About time! (M.I.A. had been talking about releasing this album for over a year now but it apparently got pushed back)
