the bad rabbits are going on tour with who? [+ new single ‘doin it’]

March 7, 2013

This is crazy. The Boston based Bad Rabbits, just got OFF tour. Or should we say they just got back from the 311 cruise, cruising around with a bunch of rock bands and 311. And now they’re going on tour with Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki and 5 & A Dime. Son. That means our fave stage-diving funky boys are about to get put on and kill the world. Well Halle Berry, Hallelujah– it’s about damn time. This is what happens when you’re the bomb.

OH MAN, and there’s this whole “new album” thing. We’ve been hollering for a new album for years now, and Bad Rabbits are finally going to give it us. If you’ve never heard them before, you should get on that. Bad Rabbits are one of those bands that make you an instant fan within the first few notes of hearing them, and then you feel SILLY it’s taken you this long to get on the wave. But that’s your bad.

The new album from the Rabbits promises to be more musical than the previous, which seems DIFFICULT given that musicality seems to be the best part about Bad Rabbits. But judging from the singles “Fall in Love” and the infectious  “We Can Roll”, they’ve done it. The Bad Rabbits are more musical that previously. What world is this? Is this Oz? Amazing.

So hold on to your hats, kids! The boys are back at it. And they just dropped another bootylicious single aptly named “Doin It” (lol) and the Butt-art motif seems to be carrying over from single to single, which is actually pretty awesome. Lord deliver us from whatever the album art is going to be (gonna be a butt). But the message is CLEAR: this music is for ASS MOVING GOOD TIMES which is very exciting *ass ass ass*
