sugar & spikes tattoo of the week: ariana “disco” fuentes

March 4, 2013

Ariana Fuentes is a vivacious 26 years old from New York City. She earned the name “Disco” because she is known to always get the party started when she walks into any room. She is a freelance makeup artist and her signature style is the funky way she designs her eye makeup. You can often find her rocking this style and creating outrageous looks for party goers at many of the hot New York City clubs. I find it super interesting that a girl who is full of energy and on GO 24/7 has a serene half sleeve tattoo that represents tranquility. Her tattoo was inspired from a dream. Through her ink, Disco shows us that dreams do come true as long as you pursue them.

How many tattoos do you have?: I have 7 tattoos.
Which one is your favorite? Why? My favorite tattoo is the half sleeve on my shoulder. It was a dream that I had that one day all things will be tranquil…just keep your head up to the sky and you’ll find the peace you been searching for.
Why should we feature you and your ink? I feel you should feature me because I’M AWESOMEEE! Naw really it’s because I love who I am and what I do. I’m proud of my ink and it is part of what makes me a unique individual. No matter what people are always calling out to me, “Hey I know that girl!” even if they dont know me. My style always stands out!
Do you have a particular tattoo artist you go to? I don’t have a particular artist I go to anymore. I’m now planning on working with Grim Styles or Fame Montalvo one day.
Do you regret any tattoos you have? If I regret any of my tattoos? Seriously? Ain’t nobody got time for that! LOL I don’t regret any of them because no matter what I was going through or how crazy things were, I always put thought into my tattoos. After all, it’s my body!
