Ever felt it was hard transitioning your summer style to Fall fashion? Don’t worry you are not alone. This time of year is quite possibly the worst time of the year for getting dressed. One minute it’s hot and the next it’s freezing. So how does one transition a summer wardrobe, into something a little more fall-worthy without weather worries?
Here are some suggestions:

Transitioning the Maxi

Maxi dresses hard to get rid of. With their sexy, feminine and timeless appeal Maxi’s dresses are the best items to help transition your closet from summer to fall. The addition of a sweater, a cardigan or a thick scarf takes this Summer staple easily into cooler weather. And while platform espadrilles are perfect for warmer days and ankle-high booties complete the ensemble in Fall, if you’re feeling a bit beguiling, with this floor-sweeping look, shoes are still strictly optional. Well, indoors, at least.

Update Pullovers

This season it’s all about PULLOVERS. Everyone has a great pullover story. maybe your grandma knit you one for Christmas or you were so inspired by The Cosby Show you bought a couple. A great pullover no matter how thick or thin or even furry makes an outfit that much more fun and fashionable this season. Don’t forget if you’re wearing a collard shirt under you pullover, use it! Collars are your new best friend when it comes to accessories.

Bare your legs, Try on a hat!

On those warm fall days, go ahead and bare your legs. Keep the spirit of fall alive by opting for dark shoes and heavier fabrics on bottom instead of stockings. Whether you’re wearing a long sweater or a charming pullover showing those gorgeous legs with a neat ready-to-wear hat pulls any outfit together.

Layered Leather

Fall is all about layering and the best material to layer with this season is Leather. So don’t put those leather shorts and skirts away just yet. The key to layering is to make sure you have no more than three levels of layering going on.

Thick scarfs are your best-friend this season. Keep warm while looking effortlessly chic with a simple color such as burgundy, navy blue or white.
