italian vogue recaps black models in paris fall/winter haute couture shows

Diversity is still one of the hot topics in the fashion world, especially in European Haute Couture fashion shows. Italian Vogue‘s Fiorella Ruth Kibongui notes that it seems that “some brands do not want to give in”. Still, the Paris Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Haute Couture shows featured some notable Black models, including Ajak, Shena Moulton, Nyasha Matonhodze, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn and more, walking for some of the biggest designers including Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, Givenchy, Valentino, Alexandre Vauthier, Iris Van Herpen.
