tattoo of the week: hawaii’s got pride

September 10, 2010
Originally from Honolulu, our feature for this tattoo of the week is 26-year-old, Amonica Phipps. Amonica currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and is a full time student getting her masters at Rutgers University and has been inked up 12 times. Our favorites are the Hawaii islands she has trailed on her stomach. So dope. For the cool background story and collective stomach tattoos, this week we are proud to feature Ms. Amonica. And don’t forget to submit your tattoo pictures to whitney@afropunk.com to be featured on Afropunk.com.
