trailer: andré 3000 stars in erotic sci-fi thriller

André Benjamin aka André 3000 is headed back to the big screen, this time in the afro-futurist, erotic thriller, High Life, also starring Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche. Andre plays Tcherny, one of several members of a crew of convicts sent into space on a series of suicide missions. This mind-bending journey directed by legendary French filmmaker Claire Denis explores ethics in criminalization and incarceration, as well as broader existential themes, as the ship hurtles towards a black hole. High Life premiered at last month’s Toronto Film Festival but won’t hit theaters in the States until 2019 via A24
