Something I want to see Coogler explore in Black Panther 2 is the inner troubles of Wakanda.
Organized crime taking advantage of Wakanda becoming more open to the world and seeing T’Challa having to deal with that as a King for his people would be interesting. pic.twitter.com/pMRKMZMD2R

ryan coogler is going back to wakanda
It’s happening.
Ryan Coogler is taking us back to Wakanda y’all…
Coogler recently inked a deal to write and direct the second installment of Black Panther. The billion-dollar cultural phenomenon was released in February of this year, but even before its overwhelming success, talks of a sequel were already in motion.
That said, hype over Black Panther may hit another level as Hollywood heads into red carpet season, as the critically acclaimed Marvel movie has generated considerable Oscar buzz.
Coogler is set to write the script in 2019 with production starting in late 2019 or early 2020 according to the Hollywood Reporter. Marvel have made no announcements about the sequel but the fan theories and suggestions have already flooded social media.
They are gonna start working on Black Panther 2 in 2019…. Storm might make a debut on that movie… who knows.

I'm still not sure about the Namor rights with Marvel. However, these are some possible villain ideas for the Black Panther sequel that would be cool. Mephisto, Zenzi & Tetu & the Adversary, Super skrull/skrull invasion, or Dr Doom. Bring on Black Panther 2! pic.twitter.com/Ar2iqOTtuC

It’s breathtaking to even imagine where Coogler will take Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa and the people of Wakanda (whom we’ve all decided to name our children after) but we do know that we will be there, front and center, waiting for Okoye to welcome us home.
