Haitian American men’s stylist Paul is an androgynous women who began specializing in menswear and men’s styling when a friend noticed that she showed avid interest in the medium. Styled By Paul was borne out of this newfound passion, as the Montreal-based stylist sought to build a brand that works beyond the fashion industry by highlighting the good coming out of the Black community.

“Styledbypaul’s motto is to shine a light, not only on models in the industry but also on role models in the community, especially our black role models. Which explains my latest collaboration with the Montreal’s notorious bike club Hilarious Riders.” – Paul

Paul just collaborated with Hilarious Riders, a notorious bike club in Montreal that has both men and women riders. What attracted Paul to the organization is the social good they do in the community, such as taking part in events like the Women’s Cancer Walk while also working with organizations like Montreal Children’s Hospital. Hilarious Riders have also participated in food bank donations, organized blood drives to bring awareness to sickle cell anemia and have sent many containers of goods to countries in need. They’ve built schools in Haiti and make a trip every year to bring containers of provisions to the island.

The Hilarious Riders are saints. “The real deal” as Paul would describe them, which is why she chose to collaborate with them in order to let the world know the amazing work they do. “As a stylist, I wanted to honour these men the only way I know how by having them styled in suits while riding their bikes,” adds Paul. The collaboration yielded a dope photoshoot and fashion movie shot by Vladim Vilain , that had some members of the biker gang decked out in some of the finest cloth. These men look so good that they might single-handedly revive the use of the word “swagger” because it’s sitting on a hundred, thousand, trillion.

Few role models have ever looked this good and few initiatives have ever been more deserving of the 5-star styling that Paul did on these riders. We can’t wait to see what else the riders and Paul have in store.
