issa rae says ‘insecure’ season 3 will explore toxic masculinity

Bae Issa Rae keeps teasing the upcoming season of her hit HBO show ‘Insecure’ and from what we hear, season three is going to be dope AF. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter the Golden Glove nominee says that next season her hit show will focus on “black masculinity as it relates to black women.” OOP! Bring us the tea, hunny. “I’m definitely mining experiences from my own life, especially for my character,” Rae continued. “And then we tap into the lives and instances and moments a bunch of our writers bring to the room, as well. I think that’s a fun part — everybody has a piece of their life in the show.”
