Aye! If you weren’t already in the Black Panther spirit, Ryan Davis’ new photo series is sure to hype you up. Inspired both by the original Black Panther Party and the subsequent comic book series of the same name, this series celebrates the legacy of Black resistance to White Supremacy and commitment to our own communities.

“The Reclaiming our Time photo series aims to capture the lived experiences that black people endured throughout history as well as recognize the important contributions they have made in society,” Davis tells AFROPUNK.
