black people in tech are taking things in their own hands with the two-day afrotech festival

If you’re in London, we’re not the only “Afro” fest you should attend this year. Tomorrow and Saturday, join activists, artists, techies and community leaders who will come together to explore technology in Black communities at the third annual Afrotech Festival!

The two-day tech and digital festival is described as “by and for black people of African and Caribbean heritage.” Through workshops, youth programming and a hackathon, each facilitated by one of the impressive featured participants, attendees will be exposed to arts, history, news and activism through technology.
