black lives matter protest drowns out ‘nazi’ richard spencer’s speech at florida university
White Supremacist poster boy Richard Spencer attempted to speak at the University of Florida yesterday but was drowned out by the mass of protestors who shouted him down. Despite the fact that Spencer had been cleared to speak at the school, his “fans” where pitifully outnumbered by demonstrators who called for Spencer and his fellow neo-nazis to go home and alternating between other chants, like “Nazis are not welcome here” and “Let’s go, Gators!”
“I’m not going home, I will stand here all day if I have to,” Mr Spencer said over the protestors who filled the crowd, calling them “shrieking and grunting morons”.

U of F president Kent Fuchs has spoken to media throughout the week about the decision to protect Spencer’s 1st Amendment, while others wonder why the university felt obligated to rent a space to a Nazi for an event not even sponsored by the school.
For the record, I don’t stand behind racist Richard Spencer. I stand with those who reject and condemn Spencer’s vile and despicable message https://t.co/eHFuUUchbh

If this isnt a school sanctioned event, why is he there? Doesn’t the school have the right to NOT rent their facilities to a Nazi?
