The Art of Blackness Exhibition is a Chicago-based exhibition event for and “meeting of the minds” between black artists and design professionals. Created to fill the need for black creatives to build networks, develop partnerships, and meet patrons, The Art of Blackness has hosted more than 5000 attendees since 2012. This year’s exhibition is set to take place at Chicago’s Block 37 on Friday, Sept. 22, 6-9 p.m. and it will feature the works of 22 artists curated by Lashun F. Tines.
